Privacy and cookies

This page explains which personal data this website uses, why, who processes it and what your rights are.

1. Who is responsible

This website presents Petit Château de la Rose, a holiday castle in Dalhem (Belgium). The data described below is handled by the owner and manager of the castle (“we”). For any question about your data, write to info@marbella-house.fun or send a WhatsApp message to +32 495 53 05 40.

2. What we use and why

Contact form: your name, email address and message, plus the language and the page you used. We use them only to reply to you. Nothing is sent until you press the send button.
Stay calculator: the dates and details you enter stay in your browser and are not sent to us. They become part of a message only if you choose to send your request by email or WhatsApp in the last step.
Promo codes: when you type a code, it is checked with our server. The code is the only thing sent.
Technical data: like every website, the hosting provider processes technical connection data (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the website.

3. Who processes your data

Cloudflare: hosting and delivery of the website, and the servers that run the host tools.
FormSubmit: relays the contact-form messages to our mailbox.

Your browser also loads some content directly from other companies, which can therefore see your IP address: Google Fonts (fonts), the image servers of the GoldenStay platform (photos of the castle) and Google Maps (map on the home page; Google may set cookies when the map loads).

4. Cookies and browser storage

This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising or audience-measurement tools. Your browser keeps a few small preferences in its local storage, such as your language and a promo code you entered. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.

The third-party services listed above may set technical cookies of their own when their content loads. We do not control them.

5. How long we keep data

Contact messages and booking data: only as long as needed for the purpose described above and our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, to stop using it, or to withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@marbella-house.fun. If you think your data is not handled properly, you can also contact the data-protection authority of your country (in Belgium: the Data Protection Authority).

7. If you book

The data needed to manage a stay (name, contact details, stay and identity details) is described in section 14 of the booking conditions.

8. Changes

We may update this page. The date at the top shows the latest version.
